For twenty years I worked at Microsoft leading multi-site and international teams. I was successful, challenged and excited by my work. Until I wasn’t. Then I was frustrated and “efforting” and not sure why.
I was exhausted, so focused on my business goals, I lost touch with what I wanted.
I had to get real in so many ways. Real about what I wanted, real about it not being other peoples job to make me feel valuable, and real about my perfectionism and fear being in the way of the life I really wanted to live. Today, I am a coach helping others do the same.
